2. How much does it cost to use idoyourjob.com?
Registering an account at idoyourjob.com is FREE but after you register an account cost depends on the membership type you select.
Monthly service provider membership fees range are $0 for the Basic Plan (trial membership which allows up to 3 project bids) and either $450 for six months or $700 for one year for the Gold Plan. In addition to monthly membership fees, service providers also pay fees ranging from $65 to $100 per additional category they would like to add depending on how many service sectors they wish to bid projects for.
3. How do I register an account?
Registering an account is FREE. To get started, click on the Register link at the top of the home page and then provide the necessary information. When you register, you register automatically as both a service buyer and a service provider. This helps you in taking full advantage of our free facility to post projects as well. As you register you can choose from our free Basic membership or our pay, enhanced-feature Gold plan. Once you have registered you can log in at anytime to make account changes.
4. What is the difference in your membership plans?
We currently offer two membership plans. The basic plan which is free and the Gold plan which includes an increased number of services that you can provide, enhanced account features, unlimited bid amounts and first preference priority. Here is more on the features of each plan:

5. How do I create a profile?
Few things are as important to service providers as a good profile, so please take your time and be thorough. Your profile will be your primary means of advertising and marketing yourself on idoyourjob.com. When service buyers search for service providers your profile is how you will stand out from the competition. To work on your profile, please select the ‘Modify Profile’ option in your dashboard. Then simply follow the screens and provide the necessary information. Also, you can use the ‘Portfolio’ option to showcase various projects your company has done in the past.
6. How do I get work on idoyourjob.com?
In addition to getting new project alerts in your category, you can also find work by using the . To do this, you simply select the Search for Projects option in the ‘Provide Services’ menu on top. You can filter search results by location, budget and more. If you prefer, you may also choose to browse all available projects.
Please note: the projects that you can view and that you can bid on are limited by your membership type.
7. How do I submit a project proposal?
Once you’ve found a project you would like to submit a bid to work on, simply click the ‘Submit Bid’ button on the project information page. Then follow the instructions to complete the process. Your proposal should include a written explanation of what you will provide as well as your estimated cost.
8. How do I increase my chances for getting hired?
Be sure to thoroughly read what the service buyer is looking for and then do your best to demonstrate that you can meet those requirements in your project proposal. A carefully worded proposal that is geared to meeting the service buyer’s specifications will go a long way in improving your chances of being hired. Another important factor is submitting a reasonable project budget.
9. I’ve been awarded a project, what do I do next?
The first thing you need to do is either accept or decline the project award. If you choose to accept the project and the service buyer’s project details included everything you need to get started you can begin working on the project right away. If you need more information you can use our convenient message board to contact the service buyer and get the information you need to get started. Note: never start working on a project until the service buyer has awarded it to you!
10. How do I keep track of and manage a project?
You can keep track of project deliverables using our ‘Project Tracker’ Tool. You can also use the discussion board to speak directly to service buyers, check on deadlines, answer questions, etc. With idoyourjob.com getting work done has never been easier!
11. How do I get paid?
Currently all payments between the buyer and the provider are managed outside our website. You receive the payment according to the terms agreed by you and the provider.
12. How do I rate a service buyer?
Service buyer ratings are an important aspect of the idoyourjob.com community and provide future service providers with very beneficial information that they can use to help ensure they select the right buyer to work for. The rating process is quick and easy. You have 60 days from the date you have marked the project as completed. This rating is permanent and cannot be changed once submitted. To leave a rating, select the ‘Rating’s and Feedback’ link on your dashboard.
13. What if a dispute arises with a service buyer?
We want your experience at idoyourjob.com to be pleasurable as well as beneficial to your business. If a dispute arises with a service buyer please send the following information via email to us at support@idoyourjob.com with the following info: your name, the service provider’s name, project information and a brief description of the problem. Our friendly and knowledge customer service representatives will do whatever they can to bring the dispute to a quick and fair resolution.
14. Can I sign up if I am not in the Middle East?
Yes you can. Our purpose is to provide an entry point for businesses across the globe to interact with businesses out here in the Middle East.
15. Can I register as a freelancer?
Sure you can, this is based on our discretion.You would be required to provide some legal documentation that shows you can practice your services. Please send us a mail at support@idoyourjob.com with the subject titled ‘Freelance registration’.
16. What is a ‘Category / Categories’?
As a Service Provider, you are required to select one or more service categories which indicate your service your business prvides. As a free member, you are allowed a maximum of 1 category selection. Once you become a paid member, each additional category you would like to do business in is charged at USD 65 to USD 100 depending on the 6month / Annual subscription plan.
17. Can I Post a Project if I have any requirement?
When you register as a Service Provider, you are automatically given all the facilities as a Service Buyer, hence you can Post a Project.
18. How do I know if I am awarded a Project?
You will get an email notification as well as an alert message in your Project Alerts page notifying you that a project has been awarded to you.
19. What is a Feedback?
A Feedback is the comment provided to rate you on the services provided to the Service Buyer. Ensure you get your feedback at the end of each job as this is crucial to build your reputation on the site.
